What Are Filter Channels?

Filter Channels let you create multiple independent filter profiles, each with its own settings. Instead of one set of filters for everything, you can have separate configurations for different purposes.

Why Use Multiple Channels?

Managing Channels

Rename a Channel

Double-click the channel name in the sidebar to edit it. Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel.

Change Channel Color

Each channel has a color indicator for easy identification:
  1. Click the three-dot menu on any channel
  2. Select “Change Color”
  3. Choose from 8 available colors
Colors help you quickly identify which channel triggered an alert in your feed.

Enable/Disable a Channel

Temporarily disable a channel without deleting it:
  1. Click the three-dot menu on the channel
  2. Select “Disable Channel”
Disabled channels:
  • Won’t generate any alerts
  • Keep all their filter settings
  • Show “Disabled” status in the sidebar
  • Can be re-enabled anytime

Delete a Channel

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the channel
  2. Select “Delete Channel”
  3. Confirm the deletion
Deleting a channel is permanent. All filter settings for that channel will be lost.

How Alerts Work with Channels

When a trade occurs on Polymarket:
  1. Predicade checks the trade against all your enabled channels
  2. If the trade matches a channel’s filters, you receive one alert
  3. The alert shows which channel it matched (color dot + name)
Even if a trade qualifies for multiple channels, you’ll only see it once.

Troubleshooting

  • Increase minimum trade size on your channels
  • Disable less important channels temporarily
  • Add tag filters to narrow focus
  • Check that channels are enabled (not showing “Disabled”)
  • Verify your filter settings aren’t too restrictive
  • Remember: filters use AND logic - all conditions must match
  • Free users are limited to 3 channels
  • Upgrade to Premium for up to 10 channels
  • Consider consolidating similar channels
